Review: Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising - PC

Title: Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising
Platform: PC

Joint Operations is not Battlefield, it does not have the lasting appeal of Battlefield. What it is however, is a smart get away with modern weaponry and tactical combat. Making sure the team sticks together and all the boys come home safe is where you or your commander will have the most fun. Wait for Battlefield Modern Warfare, or Ghost Recon 2, this really isn't anything you have not played before.

Review: Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 - PS2

Title: Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2
Platform: PS2

I had a lot of fun playing Pro BMX 2 and I think it is a really solid game, but I feel like the BMX games still need a little more refinement. They don't seem to be as polished as the Tony Hawk series which I know is on its 5th or 6th release, but I have a feeling the next Pro BMX game will be awesome. At $19.99 new or $10 used fans of BMX have no reason to not be tearing up the ramps at home.

Review: Dark Age of Camelot - PC

If you are looking for that MMO game with actual roleplay, this is your best shot. This is the closest thing I have found to an immerse world or adventure and roleplay.

Review: Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Games - GBA

Title: Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Games
Platform: GBA
Author: Snowcone
Hamtaro Ham Ham Games is a fun Olympic style game that will appeal to a broad range of ages. All in all it was a good game and playing new games on the GBA always delights me because the focus is always on gameplay over graphics and that gives me a very nostalgic feeling.

I can honestly say this game may be the most value for money of any party game I have ever played.

Review: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures - Gamecube

Title: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Platform: Gamecube

If you have access to a 'Cube and some GBAs and a few friends, you'd almost have to be crazy not to pick this game up. It's really fun, and has a great mix of competitive and co-operative gameplay. If you get bored of the main game or just want to warp up, Shadow Battle is also a great vs. game

Review: Far Cry - PC

Title: Far Cry
Platform: PC
Author: Pretzel
If you're an FPS fan with an itching for something to hold you ever until Half-Life 2, then I suggest purchasing Far Cry. Experiencing the environments of Far Cry alone is a reason to try it out. Storyline and game play are little above average at best, but it's well worth the money at the end of the day.

Review: Megaman & Bass - GBA

Title: Megaman & Bass
Platform: GBA
Author: JoeHonkie
Don't expect Megaman and Bass to capture the level of perfection that was Megaman 2 and 3, but it is really a great game. I honestly think it's one of the best entries in the series for quite some time.

Review: EA Fantasy Football - PC

Title: EA Fantasy Football
Platform: PC

Since we are still a few weeks out from the NFL season it is a little hard to speculate how things work when the season is actually underway but so far I am very impressed. I have never considered playing fantasy football prior to this so far EA has gotten my attention.

Review: Resident Evil: Outbreak - PS2

Title: Resident Evil: Outbreak
Platform: PS2
Author: Snowcone
If you are a Resident Evil fanatic then you have probably already bought and beat the game. If you aren't, then I wouldn't recommend spending your time with Outbreak as you will probably spend an equal amount of time being frustrated or loading as you will playing the game.
