Review: Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls - GBA

Platform: GBA

The time and effort that was given to restoring these games is akin to that used to rebuild and preserve old colonial houses. Unfortunately for the end user, however, the results are much like taking a tour through such a restored house-you can appreciate the time devoted to rebuilding the archaic foundation, repainting the faded walls, and polishing the former owner's ugly collection of medieval sculptures, but you'll tire of its lack of air conditioning, high-speed Internet access, and major appliances quicker than you'll appreciate the overall nostalgia and aesthetic.

Review: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 - Xbox

Ghost Recon 2 is a solid game. While those that expected one thing will get another, it will not bother you too long. The game itself has gotten one of the most impressive makeovers in game history.

Review: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2

Title: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Platform: PS2

Overall, the variety of missions and gameplay in San Andreas really changes the pace of the series. Especially with the addition of RPG elements, this is by far the best GTA of the series.

Review: Nightmare of Druaga: Fushigino dungeon - PS2

Title: Nightmare of Druaga: Fushigino dungeon
Platform: PS2

I was so unimpressed by this game that I had a few movies playing on my computer as I trudged through playing the game enough to get a good feel for a review. I did not stick around to beat it; I had plenty of other things to do

Review: Nintendo DS - DS

Title: Nintendo DS
Platform: DS
Author: Snowcone
While I was skeptical at first, I think the DS is going to be a fantastic new platform. The $149 price tag is going to be steep for some people, and with a new platform the launch library is always a little thin; so waiting a few weeks until after the Christmas season may be smart.

Review: Sudeki - Xbox

Title: Sudeki

I have a hard time really looking toward the good things, but I can see Sudeki as an exciting foothold for future RPGs that will not suffer from the same rookie mistakes.

Review: Def Jam Fight for New York - Xbox

Title: Def Jam Fight for New York
Platform: Xbox
Author: Snowcone
With that said, at most I would recommend renting Fight for New York because while I can stand back and admire it is a whole and see how far wrestling games have come I didn't really enjoy myself all that much.
